A brief timeline of Slade, LLC

As a company specializing in construction and environmental consulting, Slade LLC is committed to earning your trust and doing every job right the first time.

With our 10^th anniversary just around the corner in 2016, we thought this would be the perfect time of year to look back on our history and reflect on the opportunities that lie ahead. We’re proud of our experiences because they remind us of the wonderful relationships we’ve built over time.

Briefly, here are just a few of our favorite moments.

2006 – Managing director L’Tryce Slade founds Slade LLC. Headquarters are in Birmingham, Ala., and our company also has a division office in Charlotte, N.C. Early on, we establish a reputation for excellence in key specialty areas—construction, environmental consulting, urban planning and civil urban planning.

2008 – L’Tryce continues building connections in our community. In this year, she was named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Eight People to Watch” list; was named a finalist for Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year; and was a member of the Project Corporate Leadership Class.

2009 – L’Tryce’s relationships developed into new opportunities this year with participation in the MS Leadership Class; the UAB Minority Health Board for Young Professionals; the Catalyst Advisory Board; and as a Rising Star Finalist.

2010 – In this year, L’Tryce served as co-chair of the Executive Women’s Roundtable for the Birmingham Business Alliance. She also received recognition as a Minority Business Award Recipient, Green Award Finalist from the Birmingham Business Journal, among other accomplishments.

2011 – After a devastating tornado struck on April 27, L’Tryce was invited to participate as a volunteer on the Steering Committee for the Pratt Community Regional Urban Design Assistance Team, along with other leadership roles. Together, our community recovered from a terrible event and built lasting relationships with one another.
